Due to the possible inclement weather, they have postponed the COVID 19 Vaccine Clinic in Spur until Monday, February 22nd. If you have any questions call County Judge Kevin Brendle at 806-623-5532.

DSHS will be providing a COVID-19 vaccine clinic this Friday February 12th, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist in Spur Texas. The link provided is https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0c4fa8a828a3fac07-dshs1 where you go to registry for the vaccine on Friday. If you have any question or problems with enrollment call Kevin Brendle at 806-623-5532. The attached pages has the information you need for who qualifies for the vaccine.

In accordance with Governor Abbott's executive order GA-18, the following are the minimum recommended health protocols for all individuals in Texas, as put forth by the Texas Department of State Health Services:

Maintain at least 6 feet separation from another within the same household, If such distancing is not feasible, other measures such as face covering, hand hygiene, cough etiquette, cleanliness, and sanitation should be rigorously practiced. A hand hygiene station is located inside the courthouse for your convenience.

Self-screen before going into a business for any of the following new or worsening signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19:

  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle pains
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Diarrhea
  • Feeling Feverish or a measured temperature greater than or equal to 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit

Wash or disinfect hands upon entering a business and after any interaction with employees, other customers, or item in the business.

 Consistent with the actions taken by many individuals across the state, consider wearing cloth face covering (over the nose and mouth) when entering a business, or when within 6 feet of another person who is not a member of the individual's household. If available, individuals should consider wearing non-medical grade face masks. Face masks are available for your convenience.
